Meet the Creator Behind EcoLocate

I’m Chinedu Nwabuokei, a Frontend Engineer from Lagos, Nigeria. Living in Lagos, I see how refuse is dumped everywhere on streets, markets, and waterways and how the city often struggles with proper waste management.

That’s what inspired me to build EcoLocate. It helps people quickly find nearby recycling centers and makes it easy to report illegal dumping spots, so waste can be managed better.

The goal is simple: make cities like Lagos and communities everywhere cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable.
